Badrinath Temple - Badrinath temple is one of the holiest shrines of Hindus. It is one of four pilgrimage sites more important. Located in the hills of Garhwal in the river Alaknanada. The city lies in between the Nar and Narayan mountains extending to the Himalayas. The temple was built by Adi Shankara in the ninth century. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There are 15 idols in the temple. Each is carved from black stone. Many tourists come here every year out of devotion. The place is also known for its scenic beauty.
Rameshwaram Temple - The Temple Rameshwaram Temple is an important Hindus in southern India. Located on the island off the coast of the state Sethu Rameshwaram - Tamil Nadu. This temple is considered one of the twelve Jyotirlingams. It is believed that the Lord Rama worshiped Lord Shiva in the form of linga while returning to Ayodhya. The temple covers an area of 15 hectares. The famous festival of this temple is called as Bhrammotsavam and celebrated in the Tamil month of AADI and Maasi. You can go there by plane, train or car from Rameshwaram is connected to major cities.
Ellora Temples Cave - Cave Temple of Ellora is located 30 km from the city of Aurangabad in Maharashtra state. It was built by the rulers Rashtrakuta. Ellora is a World Heritage Site. Indian architecture is carved into the rock. It was built in the century between 5 and 10. There are 34 caves and symbolizes the three religions of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism, as there twelve Buddhist caves, seventeen caves Hindus and five Jain caves of rock cut temples.
