As parents we always want to try and make the right decisions, sometimes this is easier than others. When it comes to furnishing our child's room it can be a difficult choice. Of course you want them to like their room, but most parents also want it to be practical and attractive as well.

1. The loft bed frame with work station. This is a great design and very practical. Whatever the age of your child they will need space to write, whether they are just learning their letters or writing course work, a desk, some shelving and a chair are essentials. If you want to give you child or teenager a bigger desk area you can also look at this style, but with a full size bed.
2. The loft bed with sofa. This is a great way to encourage reading and revision. There is a single bed on top and a sofa underneath which pulls our into a double bed. This means that when they are young and you are overseeing their reading you have a comfortable place to sit with them, but when they are older and wanting to sprawl out while revising it also gives them the space to do this without having to put it all away before they go to sleep.
3. The final and most practical, but least fun option, is a loft bed with storage underneath. This is great if the room is small land you need to maximise storage, but it offers a lot less for the child.
Obviously there are many different styles within these designs. One primary thing to consider is whether to go for a wood or metal frame. The metal frame can be more versatile and can be easily adapted to suit the current trend; stickers are easy to put on and to take off. The wooden bed frames are solid and will last exceptionally well, however, many older children may think that they are a little dated and out of fashion.
Which ever loft bed frame you choose it is important to get new bed linen as well since you are creating a look and you want it to be appealing to your child.
