The moon is mentioned in the Bible 41 times, 32 times in the Old Testament and nine times in the New Testament. The moon is mentioned in the Noble Quran 25 times.
In the Bible, Revelation 6:12, 8:12 and 21:23 say: 1) there a great earthquake, and the sun became black and the moon became as blood, 2) and sounded the fourth angel, and the third of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third of the stars and 3) the city does not need the sun shines on it for the glory of God the light, and its lamp is the Lamb (respectively).
In the Qur'an, verse 7:54 says that the sun, moon and stars are forced to God. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of worlds.

Chapter 7: AL-RSAF (THE HEIGHTS)
Verse 7:54 of the Noble Qur'an in four different translations:
QARIB: Lord God, that in six days created the heavens and the earth, and then installed on the throne. Throw the veil of the night during the day. Happen quickly. The sun, moon and stars are forced to close. His is the creation, his is the command. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
SHAKIR: Your Lord is God, who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time, and he is firm in power, he throws the veil of night during the day, steadily pursued, and (He created) the sun and moon and stars, subordinates under his command, no doubt his is the creation and command, blessed be God, the Lord of the worlds.
PICKTHAL: lo! Your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then mounted the throne. covering the night the day, which is in a hurry to follow, and made the sun and the moon and the stars subservient by his command. the truth is all creation and commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the worlds!
YUSUFALI: your guardian-Lord is God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and installed on the throne (of authority): he is attracted to the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: created the sun, moon and stars, (all) governed by the laws under his command. Is not to create and to govern? Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds
-------
The meaning of the verse:
Surely the Lord is God, who created the heaven and earth in six days. If I had wanted, could have been created in an instant, but the reason for not doing so is that he wanted to teach their creatures to be prudent.
Then he presided over the throne, a president worthy of him
He layers the night with day, ie, it covers each with the other: every one after the other in a quick search.
And the sun and the moon and the stars have been subordinated, have been subdued, by his order, his power.
Truly, his is, of all the creation and command, in its entirety.
Blessed enlarged, be Allah, the Lord and the Master of all worlds!
In other words, God made the sun and the moon and the stars subservient by his command, with His permission.
His truth is all creation, the creation of heaven and earth
His truth is the command that is the opinion of the people on the Day of Judgement.
Praise be to Allah, the holder of Grace
It is also said that this means God is high, much less exalted is God, the Lord of the Worlds
He is the master and disposer of all worlds.
