Like humans, animals have their own distinctive color that sets them apart from the rest of the animal kingdom. Ferrets also have different colors that distinguish them from other ferrets or other animals, like the black-footed ferret that can only be found in the northern part of America and is one of the most endangered species of animals in the world today.
Over the course of history, people like me who love taking care of ferrets have come up with four basic colors of ferrets. La Plata Albino, Sable, dark eyes and white (AED).
