Like humans, animals have their own distinctive color that sets them apart from the rest of the animal kingdom. Ferrets also have different colors that distinguish them from other ferrets or other animals, like the black-footed ferret that can only be found in the northern part of America and is one of the most endangered species of animals in the world today.
Over the course of history, people like me who love taking care of ferrets have come up with four basic colors of ferrets. La Plata Albino, Sable, dark eyes and white (AED). All ferrets also has a different model that was also given names according to how they look. With hood, fire gloves, badger, Siamese, roan, panda, shetland or pointed pattern. Other Ferret marking include bibs, rings around the eyes, white feet and white tail tip.
These are the four basic colors and their descriptions to give you more idea of what would be your ferret and once we have decided to have one.
or Albino-Su guardhairs are all white and his nose and eyes are red or pink. or Sable-Su guardhairs range from dark brown to black. Its inner layer (belly, neck, back) is cream. The legs and tail have the same color as the body only without cape and mask, the whole band through the eye. White or dark eyes (AED) - It has a white guardhairs, but her eyes were black or brown. or silver-Su guardhairs are either silver or white or both that some are confused by the dew.
Still confused? These are the common combinations of colors that help to determine where their future ferret belongs. Chocolate Black Sable, Sable, Silver Sable, dew, Hooded Sable, Mitt Albino, Silver, Silver, Sable, Sable Panda. Some of you may not believe it, but other ferrets change colors and are called "Zach" panda silver saber very light.
Besides color, there are two types of ferret hair or skin. It is the inner layer and the guardhair. The inner layer refers to the skin under your guardshair and guardshair is skin that appears more in the body of the ferret.
In ferrets, which not only vary in color, but also have different colored noses and patterns. Ferret basic colors are black nose, brown and pink. Their patterns are T-described and stained.
Here's a tip: If you are thinking of buying a ferret from a breeder, always ask for a photo. That would give you an idea of what will be your pet ferret is like. Although it would take some time in selecting the right ferret for you, but you've found, certainly no doubt will buy it.)
