Semi-Rimless Glasses Instead Of Contact Lens
Winter holiday came and I was very happy that I had the time to travel around. I like travelling very much. To tell the truth, I like to enjoy myself in nature and experience the outside world and people. In a word, my plan in this winter holiday was that travel as many historical places as possible.
I took my luggage case and began my trip. All the way, I saw many beautiful places and took many pictures. I was excited except that little accident. On my way to Washington, I took a bus and I put my luggage case in the boot. Unfortunately, the bus driver was so careless that the boot of the bus did not be closed tightly. And my case was in the first place, so when the bus turned around, my case was the first to get out. And the bus just ran over my case. Luckily, some passengers found out and asked the driver to stop. So my case was not lost.
But some frangible things were broken, including my contact lens. Actually, I just bought it, but did not wear. What a pity! But the driver made some compensation to me and said sorry to me, so I just said OK, because he was as out of luck as me.
So I had to buy a new pair. And this time, I had a new choice for my glasses. According to the shop assistant, I felt that semi-rimless glasses were good. In her words, semi-rimless glasses were very fashionable during this time. And my round face just agreed with this kind of glasses. So at last I took a pair of semi-rimless glasses.
With the new glasses, I was in a new style and I returned to my trip. This pair of glasses was really good on me, when my mother looked at my pictures, she said. Apparently, losing contact lens was not totally a bad thing, because I got a pair of glasses more suitable for me. So sometimes, we should not complain something bad happening around us. Accepting it means another way to pursue the good.
