Preparing for spring ... The battle my personal enemy
Spring has arrived and it is time to let the season of cold, dark winter behind us and enter the warm season, bright spring. Spring is a time of change and renewal. We all know how change can sometimes be difficult for all of us. It is a time to peel the layers winter unconsciously hide behind and show our true inner beauty. Do not know about you, but in general, the winter cold, all I want to do is hibernate and snuggle on the couch with a hot cup of tea. Although it does not get out everyday tasks, or help to stay motivated. I feel and fear the day is sunny and warm outside to wear my warm sweat suit to run errands and I am forced to leave my comfort zone.
Spring means warm weather, beautiful and, for me, which means less clothes, more skin ..... my "personal enemy." Means that we start to use cute tank-tops, shorts, sun dresses, shoes open to reveal all the things most of us plus size women are afraid to use. So what do? We can not spend another season in the cozy hidden "coverage for all" clothing. It is a time to reassess our thoughts and put them in a whole point of view and getting positive and motivated. To think that just because I'm carrying some extra kilos I do not mean you can not enjoy this time as well as the following women. Focusing on the fun I'll be losing to remain in hibernation and always helps me out of that comfort zone oh-so familiar.
This the spring I decided to open a new page and take baby steps in getting closer to my personal enemy. I decided that, as the weather warms up, I will integrate essential parts Spring in my wardrobe slowly.
