Nortel has the market's first commercially available solution optical 100G
TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - December 14, 2009) - Nortel * (OTCBB: NRTLQ) today introduced the first solution available on the market 100G and announced that Verizon has implemented the solution in its network of clients live in Europe.

Nortel's 100G solution provides significant economic benefits through the reduction or elimination of a variety of network equipment such as amplifiers, regenerators, and compensating dispersion and PMD.
