When it's time to take photos you need to be prepared. Part of getting the images you want means having the right equipment on hand. All professionals know. Once you have the camera and lenses you need for your shooting you need to make sure you have some basics to help you cope with any situation that may come your way. Here are a few essentials every photographer should have in their camera bags.
Batteries
Spare batteries are essential. I do not want to be in the middle of a firefight and suddenly out of power. If your camera does not take simple AA batteries when your batteries you're in trouble while they last. Even if your camera has a AA battery you need to have some extras in your bag to avoid the hassle of having to stop at a store. Having batteries replacement will ensure that no matter what you will have the power to do so throughout the day.
Memory
You We must not allow the lack of available memory to prevent the shooting. Knowing what type of memory your camera needs. Buy more memory to keep with you in case of emergencies.
Lens Cloth
You never know when you might get a spot on the lens. Lenses have a microfiber cloth to keep clean the lenses will be invaluable. dirty lens can ruin a photo. Cleaning the lens with just any old piece of fabric can ruin your goal. You not do well. Keep your clothes in a sealed plastic bag so that there is no grain in it to scratch the lens.
Plastic Bags
Speaking of plastic bags has a couple in their camera bag would be a good move. When the rain begins to fall you need an unexpected way to protect your camera. Put a plastic bag with a hole in it for the purpose not only useful in light rain. Whenever I take pictures in wet environments and misty that should cover your camera up. Plastic bags and rubber bands to secure the bags will do just that.
Filters
There are a couple of filters that I think are essential to keep with you. This is a UV filter. This filter protects the lens from the sun's harsh light. It also helps the color of your recording the camera more accurately. My other favorite is a circular polarizing filter. This filter will help you get more real images of the sky and water.
Flashlight
Flashlights are good to have on hand for the effects to your photos. You never know when you will have to do some painting with light. Also can be used to help you focus.
Tripod
Tripods are essential for holding the camera steady when have long exposure times and the need to keep the camera completely still. Having a tripod on hand can be the difference between a good photo and a complete picture blurred.
