How to take a picture of a logical framework
The first thing to do to make a mirror frame registration is to make a half registration. Records must be cut in half and do one side and the back page of the daily (explained in the half Article log). I like to use dado blades on my table saw to make the slot for the mirror to sit in. Adjust the height of the blades to the thickness of your mirror. Run four records through the table saw with the flat side against the fence. Now place your miter saw to 45 degrees. Place your middle register with the flat side against the dado fence. Be sure to set the saw to the right 45 degrees, so the base will be within the frame when the screw of the four pieces together.
If you are making the mirror frame to fit a piece of mirror that you have, you should measure and mark the inside of the dado. Take a triangular square, put it in your brand and draw a line outwards from the trunk. Make sure you can see the line when you flip the record over so you know where to cut. Now cut another log to the same length. It is important to measure the record of seconds since the court within 45. NOT MEASURE THE OUTSIDE OF THE LOG! So I cut one end at 45 degrees. Hold the two records, along with the two parts of 45 degrees flush with others. When holding the color, make sure that the inner edge is flush dadoed flat the entire length the trunks and make a mark within the second register. Once again take their place and mark triangular until it reaches the outside and you can see the mark when it flipped over and ready to cut. Do the same for the other two sides.
Now you have four pieces that must fit together to form a mirror frame. Place two sides of the frame together at a table with the inner frame flush with others. Mark all for the registration of one that sticks out. This way you can take this record to the edge sander and sanding to the line. Now try to log in again against the same stock and must perfect match. I like the mark A, B, C, D within 45 of each record before the sand, so I know each record is when I have to fix it.
The next step is to make holes in the back pocket of each piece so you can screw together. I like to use this pocket hole template for the record, since it is small and cheap and I stick a screw through it in the back of the trunk. It is difficult to adapt to an environment registration in a vice, to take a screw 3 / 4 inches and go right through the template. Look at my pictures to see the locations of where to put the holes. Sure offset the screw holes in the trunks and shorts. You put a hole on each side of the four pieces.
Once holes are drilled, you need to glue and clamp two parts so you can put screws in them. I think the miter spring clamps work the best records because of its shape. Once attached and secured, use the longest screws you can without putting the other side. Holding the frame, make sure the interior frieze is flush so that the mirror is good inside. Now just go out there with its tail and its mirror clips and screws together.
Clean the rubber front and rear of the frame, and sand with an orbital sander. Put your finishing options. Cut about 1 / 8 inch of material into strips of 3-4 inches as your mirror to ensure the glass in place.
