How Does glass beads are made?
Glass beads dating from at least 2500 BC There is probably a larger assortment of glass beads that any other material. Glass allows for a wide range of colors and shapes that can be made of this substance extremely versatile. The colors in the glass come from different metals and oxides involved in its implementation, for example, a wide variety of colors are possible with the addition of metals.
The process of making glass beads can be typed or handwritten. In all cases the glass must be melted and then cooled slowly in the form: the glass must allow even before it is full or joint break suddenly and without apparent reason, even months later. Some molten glass can do in an oven, while others can be made through the removal of molten glass from a furnace and molding or shaping. Molded beads are made of glass rods very thick with heated molten glass. They are also known as pressed glass beads.
Glass can be made into many forms, such as: rondelle, hard, round, cube, tubes, cylinders, diamond, heart, drop, oval, rice, leaf, flower and bi-cone.
Bugle beads include beads, glass beads, Fire Polish Beads, India Beads, Lampwork beads pressed glass beads and seed beads.
How can we tell if a grain is glass? Glass is cold to the touch when not being used against the skin. It is quite heavy and makes a rattling sound when played together or tapping on the teeth.
