What are pinhole glasses?
Pinhole glasses are an interesting invention in the world of optometry. Otherwise called pinhole glasses (or "Little opening" in Greek), each metal or "lens" of plastic has a series of small holes, usually no bigger than your head of a pin. The light coming through each hole, increasing the depth of field and giving the retina without points, "Blind." Only what is directly front of the retina is in view. The Chinese discovered the pinhole technology in the fifth century, and these vessels were used in the early half of the public Century 20. A pinhole camera is the same technology.
Typical prescription glasses produce a cushion effect near the edges of the line of sight, on the straight and curved lines appear distorted. pinhole glasses block these external lines and only allow viewing through the pupil. In addition, The more a user object, the better you can see.
Compared to prescription eyeglasses, pinhole glasses differ in several ways. Whereas a user may have to continually update their traditional glasses as changes in vision, this is not the case of pinhole glasses. They can, technically, lifetime. Nor should clean stains and are not nearly as fragile. But that should not be used while driving or doing other tasks quickly and limiting peripheral vision. They are best used for activities which are stationary, such as watching television or reading a book.
While older models of pinhole glasses have obvious holes, the new models are more attractive. most modern vessels are pinhole curve near the edges, and some may even go as traditional sunglasses. Some even provide full protection against UV rays and includes a lower layer mirror to be more reflective and best costume of the perforations of the other.
