Marc Jacobs is one of the most famous designers in the fashion industry and is well known for its line of luxury handbags. He went to Parsons School of Design in New York and won several venues for their work. Jacobs won several awards in the late '80s when he worked with Perry Ellis. He later went to work for Louis Vuitton and became in the fashion director of the company and is credited for the success there with some famous styles that were created.

Marc Jacobs has created its own line bags that have a classic style of its own. They can be easily recognized worldwide as one of the luxury line of handbags available above. Marc Jacobs company has owned several boutiques around the world including Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei. The line can also be found in many department stores Neiman Marcus to Nordstrom.

In 2007 he used Michael Stipe of REM rock band in his latest ad campaign.
