CAT 2010: The trick to crack Reading Comprehension Section
Reading Comprehension (RC) section of CAT screening test is considered the hardest part of the consideration by the large crowd of students aspiring to gain admission to business schools.
There is a wide misconception among students RC-based questions that are subjective and that the correct answer depends on the choice of test takers. And also think that RC is more difficult because of its format line.
Here are some examples of false beliefs that exist in the mind of a great number of candidates:
1. Due to online format RC-based questions, the candidates themselves unable to highlight the important sections in the passage and therefore, it is difficult to see the correct answer in the passage.
2. The passage is visible only in the middle of the screen, which annoys students travel up and down many times.
3. Applicants can not see all questions at one time on the screen, only one question is displayed at a time. Seeing all the questions several times is a huge waste of time.
These examples shows misconceptions related to the Reading Comprehension section. However, these misconceptions are more or less a myth.

If we speak of the third point above, simply download this concept of mind. All questions are available on the right half of the screen, while the paragraph is shown at left. This means that examinees can see both the paragraph and questions at the same time.
Always remember that you need to understand the essence of the passage and not just focus on the details. Screen scrolling up and many times it is not going to help in any way as it is expected that understanding the underlying idea of this passage.
In most cases, candidates can not address every question on the basis of each paragraph. The best candidates can use which can be selected understand the passage. Always keep in mind that each RC passage contains the essence of a line. If there are risks of 10 lines, you do not understand the underlying idea.

There are some points which will guide you on ways to break the RC section of CAT TCC:
"Dot Plot" in paragraph
You may remember the point diagrams placed on the children's section of the newspaper and magazines and practice a point of connection with others and make a big image of it. It must also be remembering how the other points to be untouched useless once the full picture. Reading comprehension is the same as the dot plot. The hundreds of words can be taken as the hundreds of points. The questions revolve around the image, not words. Therefore, you can get the image of the dot plot.
How to connect the dots? Our recommendation:
Pre-Reading (First Reading: 1 min)
You must have an idea of the paragraph by reading the output lines of each paragraph (the opening paragraph, in particular), as well as final lines of the last paragraph. In addition, have a look at the issue and no options.
Speed Reading (Second Reading: 3 min)
You should read the article carefully and give you a quick re-reading, if necessary ..
I keep forgetting and I have to do
You should read the fast, first paragraph, and write your summary in one sentence on the sheet from scratch. Repeat this exercise for other paragraphs as well. Now, you have ideas as many paragraphs. However, the common factor between these ideas is your diagram.
After the reading (Third reading: 30 sec)
You need to ensure that the image it was correct. Simply display the words and repeated phrases in that paragraph, which must be part of the image.
Always remember that the first paragraphs and last are really important. However, this is to be noted that the test makers are wiser compared with those taking the exam.
Connecting responses
In the end, you will be able to see all questions at once. You must ensure that the answers to questions based on the CR must have some sort of relationship. And the link should be a part of the image you've come up with.
