The star most famous car in the history of television is the orange 1969 Dodge Charger R / T called the General Lee. This car was the star of 1970s to the mid and late television show called The Dukes of Hazzard and was part of the redneck culture that included American cars Fast, Daisy Duke, moonlight, Hicks and lawmen dense.
On Friday May 4, 2007 at 10:02 am a recent version of this 1969 Dodge Charger R / T sold on eBay Motors (eBay auction item 250 108 256 198) for $ 9,900,500.00. That's right folks, a cool 10 million dollars.
This car does not appear in any television program, but did appear in a movie called "The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood", released in May 2000. John Schneider described the title of "Dukes Go To Hollywood" in the eBay listing. Also in the eBay listing was an image showing General Lee was from the personal collection of John Schneider and was built in December 1997 and was # 4 of 4. Other images of the General Lee is also seen in the notice of eBay. The most important feature of this car is that under the hood are the autographs of all living members of the original cast and crew who were on the agenda television.
Most of us do not have 10 million to spend on a Dukes of Hazzard 1969 Dodge Charger R / T, but you can make your classic look sound as such.
