Black and white photography - Tracking the rise and fall
Photography B & W was the first successful form of photography. It was popularized by Eastman Kodak in the first half of last century. Silver halide is used as a single layer in the film. When the light reached a part of this film, the light burned and black, where it fell in the film, going to be white. So it came as a target blacks and vice versa in the negative. A reprint of the refusal was made a positive, or 'impression'. This simple chemical process can be done at home by amateurs right of the stage A to Z.
Falling B & W
There was nothing to go in the direction of B & W color once the markets affected. All but a few enthusiasts to change color. Regarding as the mentality of the people leave, a color TV is better than a black and white, and the same applies to photographs. Once color film was introduced, black and white took the back seat. And once introduced digital, so it seemed the final nail in the coffin black and white. Or not?
The increase in B & W
In this day and age of modern digital cameras, scanners, printers, desktop, movies super fast and such, who would waste time in a dark room in black and white? Well, people who understand the rest of this article perhaps. Did you know that you can use the color filters to create unique effects in the film in black and white? Yes! Try using a red filter and shoot an outdoor scene. almost black out the sky! Nothing else can give this effect. Photoshop? No! Nothing can give quite the same effect as a color filter in the black and white film. This is all complimentary colors around. Red Blue and green are primary colors that are opposite in the form of cyan, magenta and yellow. At best, example, the sky is dark - this is what happens. The Network allows you to filter all Light rays pass through it to the movie, except for its opposite or complementary color cyan, which is what heaven is made up mostly of. Well, you get a sky dark. If you wanted to appear dark grass, what would you do? You could use a color filter otherwise the color green, or complimentary to green, which is yellow. Every blade of grass to turn darker, while the rest of the image looks good. Can you imagine the possibilities with the use of color filters in black and white? You can make your pictures exactly as we want them, and no two photographers need to shoot the same scene to make it look all the same. This is the charm of B & W that nobody can take away computer or computer, no!
